Back paint: applied to the back of the steel plate to prevent rust on the back and enhance the overall flatness of the plate. Back paint is usually made of epoxy or polyester. Although it does not directly affect the appearance, it is crucial to the service life of the color-coated plate.

In addition, the coating can be given more functions through special treatment: antibacterial coating inhibits bacterial growth, suitable for hospitals and food workshops; self-cleaning coating allows rainwater to wash away surface dust and keep the exterior walls of the building clean; thermal insulation coating reflects sunlight, reduces building energy consumption, and upgrades color-coated plates from "decorative materials" to "functional materials".
2. Production process: the "transformation journey" from steel plate to color plate
A high-quality color-coated plate needs to go through multiple precision processes from steel plate pretreatment to coating curing, and each step is related to the final "appearance" and life.

Pretreatment is the "basic project" of coating adhesion. Modern production lines use infrared heating and hot air circulation to ensure that each color-coated board is heated evenly and has stable performance.

Post-processing is the "icing on the cake" for color-coated boards. After cooling, the color-coated board is coated with a protective film on the surface to prevent scratches during transportation and processing; some products are also embossed to form a concave and convex texture to enhance the three-dimensional sense and anti-slip properties (such as color-coated boards for roofs); finally, they are cut or rolled according to needs to become finished products that can be used directly.
